Lander is one of the most frustrating games I have ever played. The super-sensitive controls were the cause of too many of my deaths. In fact, I can't even think about playing a Lander clone without cringing.

StarCab, though, is done well enough to balance sensitive control with map navigation. You start as a simple cab, slowly falling. By tapping up, you can remain hovering while using the left/right keys to move around the board. Each tap will result in your thrusters using up fuel (the reason you explode if you hit anything). By taking various customers to their drop-off points, you receive cash to buy more.

There are a couple of different levels ranging from normal to bizarre. There aren't many levels, but it's a nice, and more importantly enhanced, clone.
