When Apple developed Speech Recognition, they created a software package with a lot of potential. The only thing it lacked was commands. The commands that they do include are very crude and were designed just to show off the new technology.

SpeechFX is an ongoing project to change that. It adds new functions to Speech Recognition, so that Speech Recognition is not just a toy it's a tool.
