MailMate can automatically configure the following email
client softwares:
1) Microsoft Outlook
2) Microsoft Outlook Express
3) Eudora
If you use one or more of the above email client softwares,
please select the corresponding email application and
click "Configure Email Program Automatically" button to
configure it automatically.
If you use other email software, you should manually
change settings as follows:
1) Start your email application and bring up the account
settings dialog box.
2) Set the incoming server (POP3 Server) of the email
account to your local host, i.e. 127.0.0.1
For example, your original POP3 Server pop.yourdomain.com
should be changed to 127.0.0.1
3) Use your email address as the POP3 User Name.
For example, for the email account of jack@yourisp.com, the original POP3 user name
is jack, and now it should be set to the email address
itself, that is, jack@yourisp.com .
Note: The above changes are for the incoming settings;
your outgoing settings (SMTP Server address and username)
needn't to be changed.
Please refer to the following example (manually configure
Outlook, the email address is: david@brezosoft.com ).

Figure 1. Outlook settings before configuration

Figure 2. Outlook settings after configuration
Above are the comparison pictures before and after configuration.
Please pay attention to the circled area in the above
pictures. What changed are incoming settings (POP3), not
outgoing (SMTP) ones.
Note: The above illustration only shows the general procedure.
